This 3-ingredient fruit dip is seriously delicious and a super easy way to impress a crowd. We use marshmallow fluff, NO cream cheese, to make a creamy dip that will take your next fruit tray to the next level!
Fruit Dip with Marshmallow Fluff is the way to go!
This is a first for me. Usually I’m a take it or leave it kind of girl when it comes to fruit dip. Meaning, it’s not all that exciting because I’ll happily eat fruit without it.
Ryan is a total fruit dip person. He’s actually a BIG dig person in general.
So the real reason why I don’t love a lot of fruit dips is because of the….
cream cheese.
Yeah, I have a weird relationship with cream cheese.
I don’t want cream cheese in savory dip, in my soup, in pasta, inside wantons, stuffed inside chicken or french toast, in mac & cheese or spaghetti.
The only places I can tolerate cream cheese is in cheesecake (praise the Lord, because it’s one of my favorite desserts), occasionally as a cream cheese frosting on cake, and flavored cream cheese on a bagel.
That is literally it. If something has cream cheese inside of it, DON’T TELL ME because I will avoid it. I’m not saying that those types of dishes with cream cheese wouldn’t taste good, just don’t tell me about it because ignorance is bliss and may be the key to getting me to try it.
All of this to say, fruit dip typically has cream cheese.
But I came up with a bomb.com 3 ingredient fruit dip with no cream cheese.
But if you’re looking for a cream cheese based fruit dip, try booty dip, it’s a viral tiktok recipe so you know it’s gotta be easy and GOOD!
Marshmallow Fluff Fruit Dip ingredients

How to make Marshmallow Fruit Dip
An electric mixer is going to be key. You’ll start by mixing the yogurt with the marshmallow creme. At first, you’ll see little chunks of marshmallow creme, just keep mixing and mixing. Adding the cool whip in will also help smooth out those chunks.
If you still have chunks in yours, you didn’t mix it long enough.
I like to pop this dip in the fridge for 30-60 minutes to chill before serving!
It’s delicious and addicting. I think the strawberries were my favorite to eat with the dip.
What fruit goes with this Cool Whip Fruit Dip?
It’s fantastic with strawberries, pineapple chunks, apple slices, grapes, banana slices, and even melon cubes. The creamy sweetness of the dip pairs well with both tart and sweet fruits, so you can mix and match based on your preferences or what’s in season.
How to store Fruit Dip with Marshmallow Fluff
Fruit dip made with marshmallow fluff should be stored in an airtight container in the refrigerator. Ensure the container has a tight seal to prevent air exposure, which can cause the dip to dry out or change in texture. Stored properly, it should last for several days, but for the best quality, consume it within 3-4 days. Always give it a stir before serving if any separation occurs.

Marshmallow Fruit Dip FAQs
This is tough to answer. I personally think they are the same thing, Marshmallow Fluff just happens to be a brand name for marshmallow creme. But some people say they are different because of the slight differences in ingredients and process of making it.
To make your fruit dip thicker, try a few tricks! Add a bit more cream cheese or Greek yogurt for some thickness and richness. Or sprinkle in powdered sugar slowly—it’ll thicken things up while sweetening the dip.

I hate that the receipe is impossible to see without ads.
Hi Edith! My blog and the ads on my blog are how I make money to support my family, pay for groceries and the mortgage! I am providing free recipes for the public so I do run ads.
Is this recipe considered dairy free?
No.
Hi Lorraine! The way the recipe is written it is not dairy free. However! 😁 It can be made dairy free by replacing the yogurt with a dairy free yogurt alternative, such as Silk or Almond Breeze, and Coco Whip which is a coconut based dairy free alternative to cool whip. I’d be happy to help with other ideas if you need them😊
Good afternoon! About how many servings is this recipe for?
Thanks!

I’ve made this twice in the last 3 weeks. It’s a perfect fruit dip. I used strawberry yogurt and it makes it the prettiest light pink color. The first time I made it, I mixed the yogurt into the fluff. The second time, I mixed the cool whip into the fluff and found it mixed much faster. I look forward to trying other flavors out including vanilla. My only question is, how many calories per serving and what is the serving size? PS this yields a lot of dip yumminess so there’s plenty for sharing.
i am looking for a dip for strawberries to make Halloween “ghosts”. Do you think this dip would work if I dip whole strawberries in the mixture, put on wax paper on a pan and freeze? Just wondering if it will freeze well then I can add eyes and a mouth with decorator icing.
Hi Sarah, I wouldn’t recommend using this dip for that idea. This mixture might not hold up to freezing and thawing.
Hi there, can I make this dip the night before?
Yes you can!
