STRAWBERRY PRETZEL FLUFF SALAD! A dessert salad that reminds us of the classic strawberry pretzel bar dessert. A picnic recipe you can make in 10 minutes!
Okay weather! It’s time to make up your mind.
No more cold weather. Definitely no more snow.
I want sun. sun. sun!!!!
I want to pack all my winter stuff away and bring out my toms! I want to sleep with the windows open and hear the birds chirp all day long, which will drive Salsa (our cat) nuts.
I want to see blueberries and strawberries on sale every week at the grocery store. I want to have picnics and BBQs.
This recipe is a twist on the classic strawberry pretzel bar dessert. You know what I’m talking about? It has a pretzel crust, a cream cheese based filling, and a jello strawberry top. Something about all those flavors together is really good!
This strawberry pretzel fluff salad is a combination between a fluff salad (with cool whip and fruit) and a cheesecake salad (with cream cheese and fruit). You could eat it with a spoon or serve it as a dip along side pretzel crisps. It can do double duty as a dessert or as a sweet side dish!
A few recipe notes:
If you won’t be serving this salad right away, hold off on adding the pretzels. If you add them and let the salad sit for while the pretzels will get soggy. For best results add the pretzels right before serving.
I think mini marshmallows would be really good in here! I didn’t originally add any, but the next time I make this recipe, I think I would, maybe about 1/2 cup.
I used International Delight french vanilla creamer in this recipe to add sweetness and creaminess. I love International Delight because it’s super versatile and you can use it in a lot of recipes, in addition to in your coffee! See all of our International Delight recipes.
