Pistachio Fluff Salad Recipe

This pistachio fluff salad is a classic old fashioned recipe tested for the perfect creamy texture. Light, fluffy, and never watery. A simple crowd pleasing dessert for holidays and potlucks.

  • 3.4 oz pistachio instant pudding mix
  • 20 oz can crushed pineapple do not drain
  • 8 oz (226g) cool whip
  • 2 cups (86g) mini marshmallows
  • 1 cup chopped nuts pecans, walnuts or pistachios

Instructions

  • In a large mixing bowl combine the pistachio pudding powder and crushed pineapple, reminder, do not drain the pineapple.
    3.4 oz pistachio instant pudding mix, 20 oz can crushed pineapple
  • Fold in the cool whip, mini marshmallows, and chopped nuts.
    8 oz (226g) cool whip, 2 cups (86g) mini marshmallows, 1 cup chopped nuts
  • Cover the bowl with plastic wrap and refrigerate for 2 hours before serving. This allows the mixture to thicken and for the marshmallows to soften.

Gluten Free: The ingredients are naturally gluten free.
To Store: Refrigerate in an airtight container for up to 3 days.
To Make Ahead: Assemble the fluff and chill for several hours or overnight. It thickens beautifully.
To Freeze: Freezing is not recommended because the texture becomes grainy once thawed.
