Funfetti Dip aka Dunkaroo Dip with Cake Mix

Ingredients

  • 15.25 oz box white funfetti cake mix
  • 1 cup (250g) vanilla yogurt regular or greek
  • 8 oz cool whip
  • ¼ cup sprinkles

Instructions

  • Heat treat the cake mix. Pour the dry funfetti cake mix into a large microwave safe bowl. Microwave for 1 minute, stir, then microwave for an additional minute. Use a thermometer to check the temperature, it should reach 165ºF. Transfer the cake mix to a plate and let it cool.

  • In a mixing bowl combine the vanilla yogurt, cool whip, cake mix and sprinkles. Use an electric mixer on low speed until smooth and combined.

  • Cover and refrigerate the dip for at least 30 minutes. This resting time allows the flour to absorb moisture and gives the dip a smooth, scoopable texture.
  • Give the dip a quick stir, then serve with graham crackers, vanilla wafers, animal crackers, or your favorite cookies.
