Ask anyone and they will tell you that I am a very determined person. Why push something off if I can do it now? Why do it starting in January if I can do it today?
I’ve also been told I have amazing self control. I don’t really get why I should indulge and go crazy eating all this stuff during the holiday season – because I can do that everyday. HAHAH. Just kidding. What I mean is, everything in moderation. The amount of sweets I eat in December is the same amount I eat in March. A small brownie or bowl of ice cream will do. Am I crazy or are other people like this?!
Even though I’m sharing this awesome smoothie recipe, it won’t be replacing my nightly dessert (because I’m 100% sure that chocolate does the soul good). This smoothie would more likely replace my daily yogurt or my post work out granola bar. Gosh, I am so predictable.. my daily yogurt, am I old?! But I will argue that yogurt is good for the digestive system :)
One thing I hope we can agree on though is how fun this smoothie is!
It’s a green monster orange smoothie. 2 layers of healthy goodness!
The green monster layer has frozen banana, pineapple, mango, lots of spinach and a little bit of water or milk for blending. The orange layer has frozen banana, orange, mango, carrots, and orange juice. 2 VEGETABLES in total woohoo!! Layer the two together and you get something magnificent!
For an extra fun presentation, top the smoothie with a toothpick filled with fruits and veggies used to make the smoothie.
